Available UNILAG Postgraduate Programmes for 2025/2026
UNILAG offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes under the following categories:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Academic Master’s Degrees (M.A., M.Sc., M.Ed., LL.M)
- Professional Master’s Degrees (MBA, EMBA, MPH, MPA, MEM, etc.)
- Research Degrees (M.Phil. and Ph.D.)
You can choose between full-time, part-time, executive, or open distance learning options, depending on your schedule.
UNILAG Postgraduate Admission Requirements
To be eligible, you must:
✔ Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Lower or higher) from a recognized university.
✔ Have completed the mandatory NYSC programme (or provide an exemption letter).
✔ Meet department-specific requirements for your chosen course.

How to Apply for UNILAG Postgraduate Admission 2025/2026
Follow these steps to submit your application successfully:
Step 1: Visit the UNILAG Postgraduate Portal
- Go to the UNILAG SPGS application portal.
- Click on “APPLY” and check your eligibility under “View Programmes’ Entry Requirements”.
Step 2: Start Your Application
- Select “Postgraduate” as your application type.
- Fill out the pre-application form and print the payment slip.
Step 3: Pay the Application Fee
- The UNILAG postgraduate form fee is ₦40,000.
- Payment options:
Bank payment (using the Remita RRR code)
Online payment (via debit card using the PayNow link)
Step 4: Complete & Submit Your Application
- Return to the portal and click “Continue Application”.
- Log in using your payment reference number and surname (in lowercase) as password.
- Upload a recent passport photo (JPEG format, white background, 275×314 pixels, max 15KB).
- Review all details and click “SUBMIT FORM”.

- Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Changes after submission attract extra fees.
