Introduction
Lagos State University (LASU) has officially commenced the 2025/2026 Indigeneship Verification Exercise for eligible candidates. This exercise is mandatory for all Lagos State indigenes who selected LASU as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 195 or above.

Who is Eligible for LASU Indigeneship Verification 2025?
Only candidates who meet the following requirements can apply:
✅ Lagos State indigenes (must provide proof of origin)
✅ Chose LASU as first choice in the 2025 UTME
✅ Scored 195 or above in UTME
✅ Direct Entry (DE) applicants are also eligible
Note: If you applied in 2023/2024 or 2024/2025 but were not admitted, you can revalidate your clearance online by logging in and paying the required fee.
LASU Indigeneship Verification 2025: Key Dates
- Registration Opens: Monday, 26th May 2025
- Registration Closes: Thursday, 19th June 2025
- Interview Dates: Starts immediately upon registration (phased schedule below)
Interview Phases & Schedule
The screening will be conducted in four phases based on Local Government Areas (LGAs):

- Make Payment Online (Only through LASU’s official payment link)
- Wait for Interview Schedule (Assigned based on your LGA)

LASU Indigeneship Verification Interview Venues
Interviews will hold at designated centers across Lagos divisions:
- Ikeja Division: Sociology Class, opposite Health Centre
- Badagry Division: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Education
- Ikorodu Division: Law Clinic, Faculty of Law
- Lagos Island/Mainland Division: International Business Class, MBA Building
- Epe Division: School of Transport and Logistics
Pro Tip: Arrive early to avoid delays due to Lagos traffic. Latecomers may not be accommodated.
