Admission Requirements for Arabic & Related Courses

To study Arabic in Nigeria, you must meet the O’Level and Direct Entry requirements.

O’Level Requirements (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB)

Five (5) credit passes, including:
  1. English Language (Compulsory)
  2. Arabic (Compulsory)
  3. Three other relevant subjects (e.g., Islamic Studies, Literature, History, Government)
Direct Entry Requirements
  1. Two A’Level passes in Arabic and any related subject
  2. NCE with merit in Arabic and two other subjects
  3. ND (Upper Credit) in Arabic or Islamic Studies
  4. Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies from a recognized institution
