JAMB regularization is a process that corrects admission records for students who gained entry into a university, polytechnic, or college of education without using the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). This procedure ensures that your admission is officially recognized by JAMB, allowing you to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and obtain your certificates without issues.
Why is JAMB Regularization Important?
- Validates your admission status with JAMB
- Ensures eligibility for NYSC mobilization
- Prevents certificate withholding by institutions
- Resolves discrepancies in academic records
Who Needs JAMB Regularization?
Not all students require regularization. The following categories must complete the process:
- Part-time students – Those enrolled in part-time programs.
- Direct Entry (DE) students – Candidates admitted without taking UTME.
- Students admitted without JAMB – If your school admitted you without following JAMB’s standard procedure.
