EDSU Admission 2025/2026: Applications Now Open!
Edo State University, Iyamho (EDSU), is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic session through Post-UTME, Direct Entry (DE), and inter-university transfers. Whether you’re a UTME candidate, DE applicant, or seeking a transfer, this guide provides all the details you need to secure your admission.
Who Can Apply?
1. UTME Candidates
To apply for EDSU Post-UTME 2025, you must:
✔ Have taken the 2025 UTME and scored the required cut-off mark for your chosen course.
✔ Possess five (5) O’level credits (including English & Mathematics) in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (maximum of two sittings).
✔ Medicine & Surgery applicants must have all credits in one sitting.
✔ If EDSU was not your first choice, you must change your institution via JAMB before applying.
2. Direct Entry (DE) Applicants
EDSU accepts Direct Entry candidates with:
✔ NCE (Merit), OND/HND (Credit), or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
✔ IJMB, JUPEB, Cambridge A-levels, or equivalent qualifications.
✔ At least two A-level passes related to your desired course.
✔ Must also meet the basic O’level requirements.
3. Transfer Students
If you’re transferring from another NUC-accredited university, you must:
✔ Complete EDSU’s inter-university transfer form.
✔ Have a minimum CGPA of 1.5.
✔ Submit your official transcript to EDSU.
✔ Possess a valid JAMB admission letter from your current school.
✔ Pass EDSU’s screening/interview process.
EDSU Application Fees (2025/2026)
- UTME & Direct Entry: ₦2,000
- Transfer Students: ₦60,000

- Fill out the online form and upload required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit and await further instructions.
