How to Pay Edo State University Fees
- Acceptance Fee: ₦70,000 (for all courses)
- Edo Health Insurance Scheme (EdoHIS): ₦25,000 per session
- First Installment: 60% of tuition before clearance
- Balance: Payable in the first week of the second semester
- Payment Method: Online via the Edo University payment portal
Learning Management System (LMS) Fee
- Students: ₦40,000
- Parents (Optional): ₦30,000
Hostel Accommodation (Mandatory)
All students must stay in university-approved hostels. Fees range from ₦110,000 to ₦250,000, while international students pay between $500 and $1,000.

What’s Included in the Hostel?
- Regular Lodge (₦110k–₦150k): Bunk beds, shared rooms (4-10 students), en-suite bathrooms (no cooking allowed).
- Premium Lodge (₦200k): Single beds, 5-6 roommates, en-suite (no kitchen).
- Premium Villa (₦250k): Single beds, en-suite, private kitchen.
All rooms include electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and wardrobes. Shuttle buses are available for campus transport.
Use of Electrical Appliances
Only Premium & Premium Villa students can use certain appliances with additional fees:
- Fridge: ₦2,000/month (Villa only)
- Microwave: ₦1,500/month (Villa only)
- Electric Kettle: ₦2,000/month
- Sandwich Maker/Coffee Maker: ₦500/month
- Hair Dryer: ₦1,000/month (Villa only)
Electric irons are allowed in all rooms but must be used carefully. Inspections occur twice monthly, and students will be charged for damages.
