What is the JUPEB Programme?
The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme at Edo State University, Uzairue, is a one-year foundation course that qualifies students for direct entry into 200-level undergraduate programmes without needing to take JAMB.
This intensive programme runs for two semesters, during which students study three subjects related to their chosen degree. Successful candidates gain automatic admission into the university’s second-year courses.
JUPEB Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the 2025/2026 JUPEB programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects (including English Language)
- Credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) applicants must have all five credits in one sitting
