JAMB Subject Combination for Anatomy 2025/2026

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) conducts the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which is mandatory for admission into Nigerian universities. To study Anatomy, you must register and sit for the UTME with the following subject combination:

  • English Language (compulsory)
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

The UTME is a computer-based test comprising 180 multiple-choice questions: 60 from English Language and 40 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. You will have 2 hours to complete the test, and you must score at least 180 marks to be eligible for admission.

O’level Requirements for Anatomy 2025/2026

In addition to the UTME, you must meet the O’level requirements for Anatomy. These are the minimum grades required in your West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) results. The O’level requirements include:

Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
