JAMB Regularization 2025/2026 Guide for NYSC, HND And Direct Entry

Secret To Pass JAMB

What is JAMB Regularization?

JAMB regularization is the process of validating and updating your admission records with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). This is necessary for students who gained admission into tertiary institutions through alternative routes such as:

  • Direct Entry programs (IJMB, JUPEB, NCE, etc.)
  • Part-time or sandwich programs
  • Pre-degree or remedial programs
  • HND graduates seeking Direct Entry admission

Without JAMB regularization, such students may face challenges when applying for NYSC, Direct Entry, or further academic programs. The regularization process grants you a valid JAMB registration number and admission letter, ensuring your academic records are officially recognized.

Who Needs JAMB Regularization?

You need JAMB regularization if you fall into any of these categories:

  1. Students admitted without JAMB (e.g., through IJMB, JUPEB, or part-time programs).
  2. HND graduates applying for Direct Entry into universities.
  3. Students whose admission status is invalid or missing on the JAMB portal.
  4. Graduates unable to mobilize for NYSC due to invalid JAMB records.
